Paola Lepori (*1996, CH) è pianista, videoartista e insegnante di pianoforte. È attiva nel duo multimediale Desdit con il pianista Simone Menozzi, nel duo LiR con la cantante Ambra Biaggi e nel quartetto di improvvisazione NoRest! con Luz Gonzalez, Rebecca Minten e Sarah Gos.
Attualmente sviluppa una performance con il partner Simone Menozzi, in cui pianoforte, elettronica e voce si integrano in una narrazione sonora sul rapporto tra natura e tecnologia. La ricerca si concentra sull’ibridazione dei linguaggi musicali e sull’uso del suono come strumento di indagine percettiva e spaziale.
Nel 2024 Paola ha creato MONDNACHT insieme alla cantante Ambra Biaggi: un concerto immersivo ispirato al simbolismo lunare che unisce pianoforte, voce e video. Nello stesso anno ha prodotto il suo secondo cortometraggio VELO con la ballerina Giorgia D’Amico come protagonista. Dal 2020 porta avanti una performance da solista in costante evoluzione, combinando testi, pianoforte, voce e videoproiezioni in un’espressione personale e radicale. L'improvvisazione e le tecniche estese del pianoforte sono componenti costanti della sua espressione artistica.
Una parte significativa del suo percorso comprende collaborazioni con artisti ed ensemble conosciuti. Ha girato il video Tèra per Stralüsh ed è stata assistente per produzioni come nuit blanche e zal - Omaggio a Frédéric Chopin di herdeg&desponds. Insieme a INPUT DUO ha creato l'esposizione multimediale Paesaggi sonori. Dal 2022 fa parte di Tastieraprojects di Patricia Pagny, un progetto che supporta giovani artisti attraverso sessioni di registrazione, CD, concerti (anche multimediali) e altre performance artistiche. Dal 2021 è membro di pakt bern, un’associazione a favore della musica contemporanea, sperimentale e alternativa a Berna.
Paola ha conseguito il Master in pedagogia con lode sotto la guida di Adalbert Roetschi presso la Zürcher Hochschule der Künste e il Master in Performance con Patricia Pagny presso la Hochschule der Künste Bern, anch’esso con lode. Accanto alla sua formazione classica ha studiato improvvisazione con André Desponds, Natalia Sidler e Franziska Baumann, canto jazz con Dalia Donadio, composizione con Felix Profos e Teresa Carrasco, e danza con Maja Brönnimann.
Un aspetto fondamentale del suo lavoro è la condivisione della sua passione per la musica e l’arte con bambini e giovani. Dal 2020 insegna pianoforte presso la Musikschule Knonauer Amt a Zurigo.

Paola Lepori (*1996, CH) is pianist, video artist and piano teacher. She is active in the multimedia duo Desdit with pianist Simone Menozzi, in the duo LiR with singer Ambra Biaggi and in the improvisation quartet NoRest! with Luz Gonzalez, Rebecca Minten and Sarah Gos.
She is currently developing a performance with her partner Simone Menozzi, in which piano, electronics and voice are integrated into a sound narrative about the relationship between nature and technology. Her research focuses on the hybridization of musical languages and the use of sound as a tool for perceptual and spatial exploration.
In 2024, Paola created MONDNACHT together with the singer Ambra Biaggi: an immersive concert inspired by lunar symbolism that combines piano, voice, and video. In the same year, she produced her second short film, VELO, starring dancer Giorgia D'Amico. Since 2020, she has been pursuing an ever-evolving solo performance, combining lyrics, piano, voice and video projections in a personal and radical expression.
Improvisation and extended piano techniques are constant components of her artistic expression.
A significant part of her career includes collaborations with well-known artists and ensembles. She shot the video Tèra for Stralüsh and worked as an assistant in productions such as nuit blanche and zal - Omaggio a Frédéric Chopin by herdeg&desponds. Together with INPUT DUO, she created the multimedia exhibition Paesaggi sonori. Since 2022, she has been part of Patricia Pagny's Tastieraprojects, a project that supports young artists through recording sessions, CDs, concerts (including multimedia exhibitions) and other artistic performances. Since 2021, she has been a member of pakt bern, an association promoting contemporary, experimental and alternative music in Bern.
Paola earned her Master's degree in pedagogy with honors under the guidance of Adalbert Roetschi at the Zürcher Hochschule der Künste and her Master's degree in Performance with Patricia Pagny at the Hochschule der Künste Bern, also with honors. Alongside her classical training, she studied improvisation with André Desponds, Natalia Sidler and Franziska Baumann, jazz singing with Dalia Donadio, composition with Felix Profos and Teresa Carrasco, and dance with Maja Brönnimann.
A fundamental aspect of her work is sharing her passion for music and art with children and young people. Since 2020, she has been teaching piano at the Musikschule Knonauer Amt in Zurich.
